I’m Joe Hamrahi (aka CFJoe). I’m a fractional CFO and the founder of FinStrat CFO. I use analogies and metaphors and try to have a little fun, both here and in my work. So you’ll see me talk a lot about animals, sports and rock concerts.
35 years in finance, 25 of them as a CFO for small and mid-sized professional services firms. I’m a CPA with an MBA in accounting, and I’ve worked for private companies, in and for publicly traded ones, and a few backed by private equity.
Today I work with firms to get financial clarity, run more profitably, plan acquisitions or get ready for an exit. I’m a forward-looking financial partner. I don’t profess to be an AI expert by any means, but I embrace the technology, and every other instrument that earns its keep, to get to the most efficient and clearest outcome.
