My last Substack post went out on March 26.
Six months is a long time. I’ve had spreadsheets open longer, but I’m not proud of it.
So, a few changes.
→ I will be posting at Substack and here more often (and you’ll still find me on LinkedIn). Short pieces on the calls that actually move a professional service firm: pricing, hiring, margin, cash, and what a buyer sees when they finally look under the hood.
→ Monday Morning Business Tips lives in both places now too. Same practical stuff you’re used to: profitability, cash flow, staff utilization, smarter financial decisions. It has its own section on the site, so every issue is in one place.
→ The byline is me now, not a logo. It took me a while to notice people don’t write back to a logo.
What doesn’t change: plain English, no finance theater, and nothing behind a paywall. Everything here is free.
Who it’s for: founders and leaders of firms that sell expertise. If your best revenue month and your bank balance seem to be having two different conversations, pull up a chair.
One question to restart things: what’s the one money question you’d want a CFO to answer for you this month? Hit reply or drop it in the comments. The good ones become posts.
